The Lake District National Park Authority has made the attached order temporarily closing public rights of way affected by works to install new power lines up the west coast.

Temporary Closure Order over Public Rights of Way affected by west coast pylon re-cabling
We have now made the above order temporarily closing public rights of way affected by works to install new power lines up the west coast. I enclose a copy of the notice, order and plans. Due to the large number of paths affected by these works we will be updating our website when updated by Electricity North West (ENW) and their contractors (Aureos) regarding the sections being worked on and paths closed. If you would like us to notify you when we are updated by ENW / Aureos about the progress of the works, please let me know and we will email you when we are informed that they have moved to a new section of the works and which paths are closed.
